More and more I am missing my trip to Cancun...
Last night I bought Hayman & Hill 2007 cabernet sauvignon reserve at Baker's for 14.99
This wine is so fabulous and complex for being this cheap. After having B.R. Cohn reserve for my 1 year anniversary that we had been saving, I was quite excited to find this cabernet locally and it was still good, for the price. As my budget is slowly declining more rapidly... and I still haven't found a full time job, I find little pleasures in a cheap and excitingly complex wine. Sometimes I just need a glass! I decided today I need to list my jobs... all my odds and ends so that I can understand exactly how thin I am stretched and not getting paid worth shit.
-Volleyball community bartender- 5.00/hr + tips
-Wine cellar bartender/public relations - 5.50/hr + tips, 7.50/hr public relations
-Mahalo writer...to be determined
-Golfcourse-bartender-7.50/hr + tips... starts up again in April (weather permitting) but my favorite job of all!

I had an interview yesterday to start working as a pre-kindergarten teacher. Of course this includes about two weeks of background checks including every address I have ever had. What a pain. I do not remember every address that I've ever had. It spans from TX to NE to CA!
Oh-well. I hope I get the job. I need something 40+ hours a week before I have to start eating oatmeal for every meal.

In order to write

I've created this blog in order to have a space to come daily for my writing.

Here is something I've been writing lately:

I swirl and swirl until the legs are unending
and a permanent smile is across my lips.
An unending complexity is what I seek when
I plunge into the bottom of my Riedel. An almost
nonexistent rim losing itself between my promised lips and
I am ecstatic. What world can I imagine? What
illusions may I create? They are endless and yet
must end as my Riedel runs dry... although-
there is always another pour.

While this is a short bit, it is to get me started.
